2023 marks the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon’s 47th running

You could say the City of Indianapolis is a little obsessed with fast races and massive sporting events. On Saturday, May 6, 2023, 30,000+ runners, joggers, walkers, and wheelchair participants will take over the streets of downtown Indianapolis for The Greatest Spectacle in Running - the Indy Mini.

This epic race starts in the heart of downtown Indianapolis – with an IndyCar driver leading off each wave in a pace car that will start the Indy 500 later that month. The flat, fast course is packed with hundreds of the nicest volunteers you’ll ever meet and nearly 500 course entertainers.

What makes the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon even more special is that the course includes a lap around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (you know, home of the Indy 500). As participants reach the Speedway’s Yard of Bricks, many will stop to kneel and kiss the bricks - because we love a good tradition. Keep your eyes open, because you never know who you'll see at the Yard of Bricks encouraging participants, from American running hero, Frank Shorter, to Indy 500 racing legends.

Named America’s Best Half Marathon of the Decade by the BibRave 100 and “America’s Most Iconic Races” by Runners World, each year the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon attracts participants from all 50 states and 15+ countries around the world.
